Lets begin with relaxing
1st of June…
Waking up feeling like a bag of dicks was probably to be expected after the choice of having a sober month ahead. The down side about this decision we have made is the fact that our office for the day yesterday, had the best free wifi in town. It just happened to be at the pub that charges 9 clams for a jug! We had been searching for decent wifi for weeks and finally found our place, but for this month well have to find out their price for pints of waters.
A miserable day weather wise, so not too disappointed in the fact that we have been cabin stuck for the day. However, when you're feeling a bit fragile and live on a boat, you need to write lists. Lists are the key to assuring everything runs smoothly and you don’t forget a thing. This is something I should have thought a bit deeper about this morning. We went to land to achieve a few tasks then returned to the mooring and after turning Nandji upside down trying to find my phone, I have realised that it is in the car. To get to the car you don’t just walk outside to the driveway. It’s a ten minute tender ride to the beach, followed by a 500m walk up a steep hill. I can tell you now, I won't do that again. So yeah, my phone is still in the car…
So the wind looks to be dropping out a bit in the next day or so after three consecutive days of rain and 20+ knots. At the moment the forecast is looking to be pretty sweet. So I reckon come Friday we might have an adventure out to the reef again. Yew! Fingers crossed the forecast doesn’t change too much because this has potential to be a nice little adventure ahead. With us feeling a lot more confident in our sailing and anchoring skills, we could spend a few nights out the reef which is what its all about! It is a very surreal feeling waking up in the middle of the ocean. Watching the sunrise and set over the water and sleeping under the stars with not another noise around.
I can feel a maintenance day coming on for tomorrow and reckon I might service our sheet winches. Ive done one from the four that need to be done. Its a good challenge trying to remember how to put them back together after you have the pieces scattered all over the table. But i will worry about that business tomorrow.

All of us deserves a rest because our body gets tired from time to time. There are various ways to relax your body from a long day of exhausting work. First, you can stay at home and sleep all day. Second is to go out of town and venture to various places. Lastly is to go out with friends and do some recreational activities. By doing all of these activities, you can simply soothe the exhaustion you feel in your body.
